Description
Bright yellow-green colour with soft reddish highlights. Fine and powerful aromas on the nose, typical of the Gewürztraminer variety, with rose, lemon blossom and ripe peaches in the foreground. On the palate it is fruity and balanced, harmonious and fresh, with accentuated acidity, nerve and a long-lasting aftertaste. Full body with a distinctive presence of alcohol. It accompanies fatty fish with intense flavours, Asian cuisine, smoked meats and can be served with fresh fruit and even as an aperitif. Ideal drinking temperature: 8 - 10 °C .
The word Lacrima means tear in the Vlach dialect, indicating the clarity of the white wine. In the old days, Lacrima was the name given to very good quality wine.
